WHERE IS SYRIA'S HELP?
My journey through this last year has taken me in me many different directions. I'm sadly aware that as soon as there is something else in the news that pulls our attention towards it, our departure from the other devastating events is swift. We are easily pulled in another direction by the media. They control where our thoughts go. We are mostly lead like little lambs, blindingly following the masses without giving thought to how unimportant are those things are that occupy out thoughts. Really, this year Charlie Sheen, Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan, making Rodney King a hero, are you kidding me? These are things that we waste our time and energy on? Thousands of innocent people continue to be slaughtered in their homes. Let us NOT forget those that are suffering while we sit comfortably in our air conditions homes, totally focused on only those things that are important in our little insignificant lives.
