ACEO DAY 46

The lack of definition in this card is not due to my poor photography skills but the actual painting.  I guess this cool weather has me thinking about winter's chill.  I'm not really a landscape painter but found my mind wandering to thoughts of Alaska.  I'm still in hopes of spending several weeks there this winter.  Time spent with The Alaskans is unforgettable.  

Perfect weather to enjoy the great outdoors these days.  My fur companion was in and out all day yesterday sounding her warning as each Normal passed by our cave.  This sort of weather brings them out in herds.  Most are so engrossed in their own world they don't even notice their surroundings much less notice an Abnormal watching from the foliage.  But my companion and I watched alone yesterday as the other Abnormals had other abnormal things to do.  So for me it was a full day of Liquitex (my favorite brand of acrylics).  


I'm not sure what today will bring.  The Dame will be in and out traveling some.  I'd like to say just for today but fear it is just signs of her inevitable move.  I still refuse to accept it.  The Neighborhood will not be the same.  Who will watch for The Flibbertigibbet with me?  We lost one of our Abnormals a few months ago too, The Gardner, but she will be back for a visit soon.  Now talk about an Abnormal!  I guess that's just part of life.  People come and go but it's not easy to find an Abnormal.
