I was determined while in Santa Monica I wasn't going to drive. I actually would have been fine around the neighborhood but was petrified of the possibility of ending up on a highway somewhere. Congested traffic is not so good for an Abnormal, much less one who is a self professed hermit. So once again, as in NYC, I found my feet the best mode of transportation. That actually was one of the things I liked most of The Big Apple. One from the neighborhood requested a rock from the beach. It was about a mile long stroll down to the beach at Santa Monica but I most enjoyed the walk along the beach and found some rocks to add weight to my baggage on my return. The ocean is not something found often in my paintings. I guess that makes sense living in Oklahoma. I need to travel more!
