My favorite donut is a plain glazed. I like Krispy Kreme, but only if they're warm, and Daylight Donuts. The donut place in The Neighborhood of The Abnormals, Best Donuts, is good too. Is there really a bad donut? Now I'm hungry for donuts!
Yesterday was most delightful! A friend from The Outside, The Traveler, came over and had many tales of far away lands to share. During our visit The Gnome and The Leprechaun joined us and we all awaited the arrival of The Nancy. The Nancy is surely An Abnormal and it felt good to have her among us again. She had many tales of her own to share and we all enjoyed the company of each other. We missed The Dame, Dodge City claims most of her hours these days but time was much enjoyed and The Traveler was a nice addition to The Cave.
The Flibbertigibbet walked past during our gathering yesterday and I was reminded of a new word given to me. My niece, The Tripper, said she came upon unfamiliar letters and was taken to thoughts of The Flibbertigibbet and the possibility that this creature might be living in The Neighborhood of The Abnormals. Her word;
bandersnatch \BAN-der-snach\, noun:
1. An imaginary wild animal of fierce disposition.
2. A person of uncouth or unconventional habits, attitudes, etc., especially one considered a menace, nuisance, or the like.
My first musings were that The Flibbertigibbet's animal was possibly a beast and could therefore be considered a bandersnatch. He does not seem to possess any of those traits though. Then my thoughts went to The Flibbertigibbet himself. A person of uncouth or unconventional habits; one considered a menace, nuisance? Maybe it's him. But after a little investigative research, I did, in fact, find out that there is a bandersnatch living in The Neighborhood and that he has befriended The Flibbertigibbet! This cannot be good.
