ACEO DAY 42

What a wonderful morning!  I know anyone who has been living under that horrendous heat dome is in awe of these glorious temps!  I've even opened up some of the portals to let the refreshing air into the cave.  I've yet to decide how cave like my dwelling will stay during these seasons of cooler weather.  The heat is what drove me deeper into my cave but like I said on an earlier day, if this were another's story, I might be referred to as The Hermit.  So I find something soothing about shutting out The Normals, The Flibbertigibbets and The Impostors.  They are always around but it sure helps the mind when you can eliminate some of the inevitable dealings all us Abnormals are bound to have with creatures from The Outside.

ACEO DAY 41

Here it is Saturday morning and not too uncomfortable outside.  A morning call from The Dame and I was soon enjoying coffee and baked yummies in her outdoor jungle.  As we sat there we heard the shuffle of The Flibbertigibbet off in the distance.  We could see him coming but he couldn't see us for the foliage.  As he came closer we could hear him mumbling something.  We didn't know who, if anyone, was intended to hear it.  When he is near, most of the animals seem to hide and are silent.  No birds.  No squirrels.  But the dogs, they bark.  The bark they make when they sense something evil and wild close by.  He never did see us but we watched him as he lumbered past.
