A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR OLIVE THE DOG

Time is running out for holiday shopping.  One week left.  That doesn't really mean I have to make any changes in my life.  My shopping ended when I got gifts for the grand daughters.  The tighter the money the smaller the gift giving pool.

This is the post that I put on FaceBook yesterday.  We all talk about change that is needed, well, some of us do, others are blissfully ignorant of what goes on around us.  I have a button that says "if you're not outraged then your not paying attention".  Each one of us can make a difference.  

I'm curious as to how many people actually gave thought to where they spent their Christmas money. Did I make a conscious effort to shop at my local independently owned stores? Did I support an individual instead of going to the mall? Did I ever look on the bottom to see if it said "Made in America"? If we didn't do these things then we are indeed part of the problem!
