About Me

Marsha Mahan Art: I'm an artist. I'm really a festival artist and maybe should have not abandoned it so quickly. I think in art you make a choice of direction. I had a good fit with my festival artists, not a fit that I've found at home. Looking back over a year of ACEO cards made it impossible to ignore the fact that my emotions tend to be all over the place. I have times that I want to go "off the grid" and hide and search, for what I don't know. I think it's time to retreat again. I usually don't remember my dreams. Lately though I have and with much clarity. I think there is something there I need to learn. My new following is facing the fears that manifest themselves in my dreams. I've started painting these dreams so maybe I can find what it is that I fear or what it is in my way blocking me. I have a house full of paintings. Things that I really thought would sell still find their home in my closet. Abandoning that as direction, I hope my focus now will be only on me with the hopes of settling that uneasiness that seems to prevent me from finding what I'm looking for. Then again, my emotions are all over the place, this may change tomorrow.
