I know a lot of the things I post pisses someone off. And I know I very often say someone is judgemental. I do fully realize that I too happen to be one of the judgementalists, mostly regarding politicians, but there are a host nonpolitical things that I feel just as strongly about. Maybe most of that is because it just wasn't part of my world so it's difficult for me to understand.
I'm talking about the Kentucky Wildcats, their win and the property destruction. Sports is one of those things I just don't get, which is almost considered criminal here in the sports state of Oklahoma. Part of that probably stems from my dad who was an addicted gambler. It wasn't about the game or the team but about the points. I even dated a bookie for a time but that wasn't as much about sports, as it's was about business. So when I see sports fans being destructive, lighting cars on fire, turning them over and the police being called in, arrests being made, injuries, I just don't get it.
I can't bring myself to feel so strongly about a sport, that property destruction is acceptable, or illegal coverups that happen at the expense of young people just to keep it a schools record from being tarnished ok. I just don't get it and I am happy that I'm not part of that group. Every sports fan should be embarrassed and speak out against such sorts of things that go on. Can't fans celebrate without being destructive and causing injury?

(CNN) -- Hours after raucous University of Kentucky students torched cars and couches after their men's basketball team advanced to the NCAA championship, the Wildcats' coach said that he understood fans' passion but was "disappointed" by some of their actions.
"The state of Kentucky is so connected to this program. It's the commonwealth's team," coach John Calipari told reporters Sunday. "They go overboard sometimes."
The coach said that, while they fervently support their team and might rejoice in its victories, Kentucky supporters would never show up an opponent.
"Our fans are the classiest," Calipari said, adding that they'd never "storm the court" as some do after a big win. "They're not vicious to the opponent. They're not that way."
