Usually when I revert back to painting fruit it means I don't have anything at the moment that has me stirred up. That's not the case right now. I actually have an abundance of "statement" paintings I'd like to do but needed to do another yellow pear for my Etsy shop.

For some reason there seems to be a lot of pear buyers out there right now and I'm more than happy to keep painting different versions of them.
