I have a Wall of Shame going and thought about putting outgoing Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour on it. It didn't really seem to be a good fit though as the Wall is a gathering of ticks, individuals or corporations who are greedy at the expense of all of us.
I felt a new wall needed to be created, a Wall of Cockroaches. Governor Barbour will be the first to hang. The Governor had the authority to pardon anyone he wanted and he chose to pardon a few murderers, other roaches who were convicted for life because of MURDER!! One of who just days before was denied parole. During his time in office he chose to surround himself with convicted murderers to work at the Governor's Mansion as trustees. I guess it shouldn't be too far of a stretch to think that he would actually end up giving them a pardon since cockroaches seem to congregate together. There were several media attempts to contact him for comment, of course he could not be reached. If you were a family member of one of the murdered, how do you come to terms with this?
Just because we have the right to do something doesn't mean we should. Shame on you Governor Haley Barbour. You indeed are another one of our glorious politicians! And congratulations for being the first on The Wall of Cockroaches! You will not be on the wall alone for long. There are plenty of roaches yet to join you.
