VERIZON JOINS THE WALL OF SHAME

There are times that I struggle to think of something to paint for the day.  I often revert back to fruits at that time.  They've been my favorites to paint for some time now.  Then there are times that I can't decide on one thing to paint because there are so many issues that are stirring inside me.  So is the case now.

Today I had to put Verizon on The Wall of Shame.  They, like so many others, tried in their greed, to put unwarranted charges on customers.  I don't happen to be a Verizon customer but bravo to all those who raised enough of a stink to get the money hungry monstrosity of Verizon to back down.  

This seems to be a pattern.  The greedy want more and they attempt to squeeze it from the working, the majority who are the working poor.  Is it really that protest that is the only thing that makes governments and major companies do the right thing?  Shame on you Verizon!!!!!

I should have posted something about the New Year.  Something about how great 2011 was and how hopeful we all should be about 2012.  I don't seem to be able to do it though.  I saw on the news last night though that I'm not alone.  The majority are ready to kick 2011 in the ass and get rid of it.  So...........fuck off 2011.  Glad to see you go!  

And.........if you're not outraged with the state of our nation and the world, you're not paying attention!!!!

The last of my Harry and David pears.  Many many thanks to my daughter The Shopkeeper and her mate The Electrician for the delicious Christmas present.  I don't think I've ever had one that tasted that good!  Pears to end all pears!!!!
