ONCE UPON A TIME
When I have paintings that aren't quite finished, I take them in the sleeping chamber of The Cave so I can study them to see what will bring it to completion. The light is different in there. The atmosphere is different. It reminds me of living in NYC. It's small. I have everything I need within two steps. It's my cave within a cave. It's cozy and warm, the rest of The Cave is very chilly. So last night I decided to just paint in the sleeping chamber. It felt so much like New York. A small cozy place to withdraw and create. At 2:00 this morning I turned the lights off and my fur companion and I called it finished and snuggled in for the night. I'll deliver it to Paseo Originals today for the opening this Friday.
