Not having cable has not been a bad thing. Basically I've adjusted to very little TV and not watching endless hours of CNN has kept me a bit less agitated. The news this morning though has reignited my outrage. Watching the coverage of the protestors in NYC make me embarrassed with the greed in our country. For OVAC's 12x12 I painted a tick. An engorged tick that looked like the American flag. Viewers either didn't seem to get it or were insulted by how closely it might have mirrored their own life. We're all about greed, over consumption, waste.
This was ACEO card #18. Washington is broken. Wall Street is broken. The US is broken. WAKE UP
I've consulted a few people as to whether I should or should not post this. Each has said no. Here you are. I obviously posted it. My entire life I never paid much attention to what others thought I should or shouldn't do. No reason to start now. Some will say that it's not a good business choice. It might take away from sales. Maybe it's just the beginning of a new direction. Down the road this might be referred to as my protest period. Perhaps I am indeed the most abnormal of The Abnormals. Even The Leprechaun said I shouldn't post this. But what can one really expect from an Abnormal Artist? At least I still have both my ears.
