I had to do a painting of the entrance to The Gnome's magical world.
The Leprechaun was over for a bit last night. Since he has no television he often stops by to see what is currently consuming air time and of course to have a couple of drinks. It seems that one catastrophe follows on the heels of another with no lull. We were wondering how quickly another news story will overtake the coverage of Irene. The media moves on long before those affected by the previous disaster are back to their normal. What IS normal anyway? So, while we were watching Irene's swath of destruction, The Leprechaun said he was in favor of mud huts. That way if it got washed away you could just build another one. The Leprechaun and I could probably live in a mud hut, The Dame and The Gnome, I think not.
Hugs go out to The Dame today as she and her clan say goodbye to her Dad. The cycle of life is difficult to understand isn't it? Maybe the most we can hope for is to live life as abnormally as is possible for each of us. I love The Abnormals. How lucky I am to have them in my abnormal life!
