Well, it certainly was an Abnormal night! It's been a while since The Gnome has been that thirsty. She was into her French ancestry consuming excessive quantities of fermented grapes. She was a bad influence and got me caught up in her liquid consumption too. It's a rare occasion that The Gnome and I outdo The Leprechaun. Last night, one such night! I will have to check on The Gnome this morning. After The Gnome shuffled on to her dwelling, The Dame fixed me a nice nourishing plate of sustenance. The Dame is a great cook!
An update of photographing The Flibbertigibbet. He passed by yesterday while my fur companion and I were out tending to the wash on line. We hid amongst the trees and waited for him to pass. My fur friend can sense his presence long before I can see him so I was forewarned. He hesitated for a moment in front of the cave. I don't know if he felt our eyes on him or if he was contemplating mischief. He scampered along though without our being noticed and we followed him at a safe distance to see if we could find where he lives. He disappeared into a clump of bamboo. I wanted to follow but thought it best to do under the cover of darkness. I will get his picture and as soon as I do, I'll post it. I have to be patient though. Any misstep could mean disaster.
